google : used ferraris and check lots of websites like autotrader or yahooautos. You will mostly see f430's though starting at like $90,000 to $300,000. I think it's not bad if you can get a 4 year old f430 for like half the original new price of about $150k. I plan on buying a used f430 in a couple of years (and no I'm not a millionaire either). I've done my research on insurance, maintenance, storage for the winter etc. and I firmly believe you can have one without being super rich like what they always portray on tv.

Well, what can I say? nice articles, but you did not spoked about a very important thing, wish is what make people go for porsches and not for ferrari's, the maintenance costs, you can purchase a nice 348, or a testarrossa, or even a dyno, but the trouble is how to keep it on the street after the visit to the mecanic... the costs are huge, sometimes a 1|3 of the ferrari value, I have bought a Testarrosa for 48 000 US Dollares, and ate 30 000 Milles I have paid for clutch, and other components 8 900 U.S Dollars... well I had to leave the car there, for my luck I had a guy who bought me the car for 43 000 US Dollars, I lost some money, but ok, then I Bought a Porsche 911 993 4S, for the same 43 000 US dollars, and the visits to the porsche centre are cheaper than my Audi A4.. arround 450 U.S Dollars, except some parts of course, and that s the diference, Ferrari are a Heart, warm decision, and a Porsche a rational, cold decision, for me the right one, Ferraris only work for people with more than 1 million US dollars.. that s my opinion... anyway good posts..

Ive been a ferrari nut for yrs but i wasnt in to the hype prices seen in the last few yrs,
of course i liked the BB's and TR's and the like and dinos too, but i think I m gonna get a 365 GTC-4,
the styling and the room inside is alot better than a daytonas and im not getting it for value but for use and driving,
I like the dash alot better than the daytona and its much easier to live with that a daytona,
better seats and I think better looking body,
where do i get onre that decent priced and not a flashy dealer out for atention,

this is exactly what I did, but I bought brand new one, as I dreamed of this car for along time ago, and I was freid to ask even for this car as I don't have enough money, and then I decided to check the price of second hand 2 - 5 years old, I found that some of them are realy cheap, then I went to the dealer to check the price of brand new model, it was realy expensive. if I bought second hand I have to replace the brakes plus the clutch, which cost too much. I found that to buy new car much better than fixing second hand, you don't know who was the old driver, with lettle amount extra that guarantee your car for 3 years.

when I went to buy the car, I had only 20% of its amount, and I was so happy that the delivery is 2 years and not less, so within the 2 years, I worked so hard, then I completed the amount before that date without bank loan , so I am expecting to receive my car within couple of months.

if you wanted just to have Ferrari for couple of months you can have second hand, but if you wanted to keep it for along time, I prefer new car. as you will pay too much to fix it. even if it is guaranteed from the dealer, as the dealer will not garantee wear parts after using it, as it will be bad usage.

good luck to all
